AuthZ is an independent editorial journal about stories: how they work, what they reveal, and how to tell them well.
AuthZ publishes original essays and practical guides about literature, screen culture, editing, and the changing culture of authorship.
The publication is being rebuilt around a simple principle: a smaller collection of distinctive, trustworthy work is more valuable than a large archive of repetitive material. We revise aggressively, distinguish interpretation from established scholarship, and make sources easy to inspect.
